With the support of the Society for French Studies and the Alumni Foundation of the University of Bristol.

This one-day conference is the first to be entirely dedicated to the work of Sébastien Japrisot. It aims to examine Japrisot’s entire novelistic output and several film adaptations of his work through a series of papers by leading figures in the study of French crime fiction and the French novel, including Jacques Dubois, Claire Gorrara, David Bellos, Véronique Desnain et Simon Kemp.
